Who actually sells you the tour
We are not a tour operator, a travel agency, or a seller of travel. We do not employ guides, own vehicles, hold licences, or take bookings.
Every tour listed here is sold by a booking platform — GetYourGuide or Viator — and operated by the local company named on that tour's page. When you press "Check Availability", you leave this site for that platform. From that point:
- the platform takes your payment and issues your booking confirmation; - the operator runs the tour and decides whether it goes ahead; - the platform and operator set the cancellation terms, not us; - customer service, changes and refunds go through them.
We have no authority to make commitments on any operator's behalf, and we cannot change, cancel or refund a booking.
How the commission works
When someone books after following one of our links, the platform pays us a percentage of its own margin. The rate is set by the platform and is broadly the same across the tours it sells, so we do not earn more by steering you toward one operator over another.
The link carries a tracking code so the platform knows the booking came from here. That code does not identify you to us — we see aggregate booking counts, never who booked what.
What that changes about our writing — and what it does not
It does not change what we say about a tour. Operators cannot pay to be listed, to rank higher, to raise a score, or to have a criticism removed.
What it honestly does change: we only earn from tours these two platforms sell, so the catalog is bounded by their inventory. Where booking direct with an operator is cheaper, or where the answer to your question is "do this without a tour", we say so and earn nothing. Prices and availability
Every price on this site is the figure we read on the operator's listing, with the date of that reading printed next to it. Prices, availability, inclusions and cancellation terms are set by the operator and the platform, change without notice, and are confirmed at checkout on their site. Treat our numbers as a comparison, not a quote.
Regulatory basis
This disclosure is made in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and equivalent expectations elsewhere. A short version of it appears next to the booking buttons throughout the site so it is visible at the point of the click, not only on this page.
